The plant produces oxygen and nitrogen in gas and liquid state. Gaseous oxygen is used in the production of steel during its melting, while nitrogen is the accompanying gas during the oxygen production. 

Oxygen is produced in cryogenic plants, which are installed in the former Metallurgical Plant of Elbasan. Each of the plants has a capacity of 3200m3n / h oxygen in the gaseous state. The purity of the oxygen produced reaches up to 99.95%. Most of the oxygen (97%) supports the needs of the Steel Plant. The factory also supplies other enterprises and institutions in Albania with its products.
